The research institute external quality assessment system in the Republic of Croatia comprises the assessment and grading of the quality and efficiency of the activity of the research institute, on the basis of objective and transparent criteria, the Act on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Science (OG 151/22) and other regulations.
The research institute external quality assessment system is implemented in the form of quality assessment conducted as part of initial accreditation, re-accreditation, one-off evaluation and thematic evaluation of research institutes.
