At the ceremonial session of the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences, held on 2 July 2026 at Lavoslav Ružička University of Applied Sciences in Vukovar, the Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE) was awarded the Golden Plaque, the highest distinction conferred by the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences.
The ceremonial session brought together the heads of universities of applied sciences in Croatia, representatives of the academic community, and representatives of local and regional authorities. On this occasion, the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences presented its 2026 awards and recognitions to individuals and institutions in acknowledgement of their outstanding contributions to the promotion and development of professional higher education and universities of applied sciences.
The Agency for Science and Higher Education received the Golden Plaque, the highest recognition of the Croatian Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences, in recognition of its exceptional merits and lasting contribution to the development of the Conference, professional higher education, and universities of applied sciences as a whole, as well as for promoting their standing and reputation in Croatia and internationally.
