The ENQA Members’ Forum 2026 was held from 22 to 24 April 2026 in Budapest, hosted by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (MAB).

The Forum brought together representatives of quality assurance agencies from across the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) to discuss strengthening trust in a dynamic and evolving European higher education landscape. The event was attended by Prof. Danijela Horvatek Tomić, PhD, Director of the Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE), Mia Đikić, PhD, Head of the Science Evaluation Department and Assistant Director for Science, and Marina Grubišić, PhD, Head of the Higher Education Evaluation Department and Assistant Director for Higher Education.

The central theme of the Forum focused on the role of quality assurance in strengthening trust in higher education, student qualifications, and higher education institutions. The programme included plenary presentations, thematic workshops, and expert discussions on transparency, accountability, public communication, and the development of policies supporting fundamental academic values and integrity.

Particular emphasis was placed on European higher education reforms, including the development of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and initiatives related to the European degree.

A significant part of the programme was dedicated to ENQA and EQAR review procedures, as well as the implementation of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).

Participation was made possible through the project “Quality Assurance in Higher Education – AZVOK”, financed under the Effective Human Resources 2021–2027 Programme of the European Social Fund Plus.
