In December of 2017, the first site visits were made to higher education institutions that are participating in the pilot reaccreditation within the framework of the SKAZVO project (Improvement of quality assurance and enhancement systems in higher education).

On 12th and 13th December 2017, the expert panel visited the University College of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Management Nikola Šubić Zrinski in Zagreb.

 Beginning in 2018, they will also visit the other institutions that are participating in the pilot re-accreditation:  The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb; the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka; The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Split; the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, University of Split; The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb and Križevci College of Agriculture.

In reminder, the pilot re-accreditation is being implemented on the basis of improved documents for re-accreditation, within the framework of the project SKAZVO (from 2016 to 2018) and it is co-funded by the European Union funds from The European Social Fund. Its purpose is to develop new procedures and improve existing procedures for external evaluation of Croatian higher education institutions and study programmes, as well as to improve the quality of study programmes and strengthen the competences of the staff of higher education institutions that implement them.
