This year, the Agency for Science and Higher Education is undergoing external review carried out by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education – ENQA.

This procedure, carried out once in five years, is aimed at checking the Agency’s compliance with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area – ESG, as well as confirming its ENQA membership and the status in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education – EQAR.

For the purpose of this review, the Agency has drafted a Self-evaluation which provides an outline of the Agency’s compliance with the ESG.  An international expert panel which is to visit the Agency on 3-6 October 2016 will carefully examine this document. It will hold meetings with the Management Board and the Agency’s employees, the Accreditation Council and other stakeholders to discuss any outstanding issues.
