Staff members of the Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE) participated in the 30th Annual International Conference on Science and Technology Indicators (STI-ENID 2026), held from 9 to 11 September 2026 at the University of Antwerp.

The conference brought together international experts and representatives of institutions involved in the evaluation of research activities and the development of science, technology and innovation policies.

The programme featured presentations on current approaches to the responsible use of bibliometric indicators, open science, research data quality and monitoring research impact.

Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, acquire new professional knowledge and learn about examples of good international practice that can contribute to the improvement of the Agency’s analytical and evaluation activities.

Participation was made possible as part of the project “Quality Assurance in Higher Education”, funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) through the Effective Human Resources Programme 2021–2027.
