A workshop for career advisers titled Entrepreneurial intentions of students was held on 16 May 2018 at the Agency for Science and Higher Education. It was led by prof. dr. sc. Zoran Sušanj from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka, and Nikoleta Zubić.
This is the third workshop in a cycle Karijeriranje (Careering), organized by ASHE, to provide support to career advisers in the higher education system.
Participants discussed fundamental characteristics of entrepreneurs (personality traits, motives, knowledge, skills, abilities, with a special emphasis on students) and predictors of entrepreneurial intentions. Among the topics discussed were the entrepreneurial education and the way of development of entrepreneurial competencies in students.
The workshop brought together around 20 career advisers and other persons involved in professional guidance and student support activities at HEIs.
