Careering/Karijeriranje – a cycle of workshops for career advisers at HEIs

Within the framework of the ESF project SKAZVO the Agency for Science and Higher Education has organized workshops for career advisers at higher education institutions, i.e. employees of HEIs responsible for graduate employment strategic planning, curriculum development and implementation, student support through the work of career centres and extracurricular activities.

The aim of this cycle of practical workshops is to strengthen the competencies of career advisers at higher education institutions so they could address professional challenges as best as possible.

By organizing and carrying out these workshops ASHE seeks to provide support to higher education institutions in developing professional guidance services and to the sustainability of career centres. ASHE’s also seeks to encourage the establishment of new centres and employing competent staff which would help students in defining their educational goals, developing practical skills in demand in the labour market, which will actively contribute to the linking of higher education and labour market.

There are eight workshops that cover various topics (preparing students for the labour market, encouraging entrepreneurial intention in higher education, various skills and competencies development methods and organization of careers centre events).
