The Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE) is a winner of this year’s Charter for Special Contribution in Education and Promotion of Quality, traditionally awarded by the Croatian Society for Quality.
This valuable recognition was awarded on Tuesday, 11 November 2014, on the occasion of marking the 12th Quality Day held under the slogan Quality wins. On this occasion, this year’s 20th European Quality Week and the 25th World Quality Day were also celebrated.
“We are pleased that the Croatian Society for Quality recognized activities and contribution of the Agency for Science and Higher Education in the integration of European and international standards and good practices in the field of quality assurance in higher education and science in Croatia. We see this Charter as encouragement and inspiration to further contribute to the improvement and promotion of Croatian science and higher education system “, said Assistant Director of the Agency, dr. sc. Vesna Dodiković-Jurković.
This year’s winners received the charters from the Minister of Health, prim. Sinisa Varga, dr. med. dent. spec. and the ceremony was attended by the Director General of the European Organisation for Quality, dr. Eric Janssens and other distinguished guests.
Croatian Society for Quality awards this recognition annually to deserving institutions, companies and individuals, and the prize was awarded to the Agency for its continuous work in the field of quality assurance in science and higher education and raising awareness about the importance of internal and external quality assurance – at the level of individuals, study programs and processes, higher education institutions and the entire higher education system
