{"id":5548,"date":"2016-01-21T15:00:12","date_gmt":"2016-01-21T14:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/azvo.borealis.biz\/uncategorized-hr\/f-a-q-2\/"},"modified":"2023-11-03T07:59:29","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T06:59:29","slug":"f-a-q-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/en\/2016\/01\/21\/f-a-q-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Follow-up of doctoral programmes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nAfter the end of the follow-up period, as set by the Accreditation Council, higher education institution submits a report to ASHE, based on which the Accreditation Council determines to what extent has the higher education institution implemented recommendations for improvement.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nIn case the higher education institution was issued a <strong>confirmation on compliance with the requirements for performing the activities, or parts of the activities<\/strong>, the follow up includes the following steps:\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>within 6 months after receiving the confirmation, the re-accredited institution adopts <strong>an action plan<\/strong> aimed at quality improvement, and submits it to the Agency,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>once a year, the re-accredited institution submits a report to the Agency on the <strong>implementation of the action plan<\/strong>, and, accordingly, updates the data on the conditions in the information system used by the Agency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Obrazac-izrade-Akcijskog-plana-i-godisnjeg-izvjesca.docx\">Action plan template<\/a>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nIn case the higher education institution was issued a <strong>letter of expectation<\/strong>, the Agency recommends one of the following:\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>issuance of a <strong>confirmation<\/strong> on fulfilling requirements for performing the activity or part of activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>denying<\/strong> of a license for performing the activity, or part of the activity.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nWithin its <strong>report on the implementation of the action plan for removing deficiencies<\/strong> identified in the re-accreditation procedure, higher education institution follows the recommendations of the expert panel, describes the changes made on the basis of these recommendations, and provides supporting evidence thereof (e.g.&nbsp; decision on changes and amendments to study programmes, decision that regulates the issue of supervisor being a member of the thesis defence committee, decision on the appointment of a committee for monitoring the work of supervisors, regulations and decisions showing changes and amendments to doctoral programmes, list of papers\/projects, etc.).\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe required documents are submitted in printed and electronic form.\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the end of the follow-up period, as set by the Accreditation Council, higher education institution submits a report to ASHE, based on which the Accreditation Council determines to what extent has the higher education institution implemented recommendations for improvement.
