{"id":5049,"date":"2015-09-24T08:08:46","date_gmt":"2015-09-24T06:08:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/azvo.borealis.biz\/newsa\/electronic-databases-within-scan-d-project-has-been-established\/"},"modified":"2023-11-03T08:02:29","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T07:02:29","slug":"electronic-databases-within-scan-d-project-has-been-established","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/en\/2015\/09\/24\/electronic-databases-within-scan-d-project-has-been-established\/","title":{"rendered":"Electronic databases within SCAN &#8211; D project has been established"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n<a href=\"http:\/\/scand.cimea.it\/\">http:\/\/scand.cimea.it\/<\/a>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n<em>The database is a collection of over 2200 samples of national degree certificates from Higher Education Institutions of the 15 participating countries: Belarus, Belgium-Flemish Community, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain.<\/em>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe database has security features in order to protect the confidentiality and integrity of data, and will be accessible only to authorized credential evaluators of ENIC-NARIC centres from 55 countries (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.enic-naric.net\/country-pages.aspx\">http:\/\/www.enic-naric.net\/country-pages.aspx<\/a>).\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe diploma samples database would be a useful recognition tool for improving the recognition process:\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>method of control for diminishing fraud or misunderstandings during the recognition process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>source of information for all ENIC and NARIC centres on the national academic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/vijesti-iz-azvo\/ulazak-hrvatske-u-europsku-mreu-za-mobilnost-istraivaa\/\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">qualifications<\/span><\/a> from other countries, which will increase coherence and make processes more transparent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nENIC\/NARIC centers contribute to the development of mobility of students, teachers and researchers by providing advice and information on the recognition of qualifications and periods of study in other countries.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nFinanced by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme &#8211; Action 3 (Support for Policy Reform), the SCAN-D project started in July 2014 and will be concluded at the end of September 2015.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe SCAN-D project was launched with the main goal to foster knowledge of different Higher education degrees and to promote a better and fair recognition process.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nCroatian ENIC\/NARIC Office of the Agency for Science and Higher Education is a partner in the Samples &amp; Copies of Academic National DIPLOMAS \u2013 SCAN-DIPLOMAS project, which is led by NARIC Italia \u2013 CIMEA.\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>http:\/\/scand.cimea.it\/ The database is a collection of over 2200 samples of national degree certificates from Higher Education Institutions of the 15 participating countries: Belarus, Belgium-Flemish Community, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain.
