{"id":2008,"date":"2011-10-21T13:52:01","date_gmt":"2011-10-21T11:52:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/azvo.borealis.biz\/uncategorized-hr\/thematic-evaluation-in-higher-education\/"},"modified":"2023-11-03T08:25:36","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T07:25:36","slug":"thematic-evaluation-in-higher-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/en\/2011\/10\/21\/thematic-evaluation-in-higher-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Thematic evaluation in higher education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nAt the session held on 16 December 2022, the Croatian Parliament passed the Act on Quality Assurance in Higher Education&nbsp; and Science, which regulates the internal quality assurance and quality enhancement of higher education institutions and research institutes, the external quality <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/maticni-odbori\/matini-odbor-za-polja-strojarstva-brodogradnje-tehnologije-prometa-i-transporta-zrakoplovstva-raketne-i-svemirske-tehnike\/\">evaluation<\/a> of higher education institutions and research institutes, and the organisational structure and competences of the Agency for Science and Higher Education.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe new Act (Official Gazette 151\/2022) replaced the Act on Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education (Official Gazette 45\/2009) on 30 December 2022, so the latter is no longer in force.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe Agency conducts <em>ex-officio<\/em> thematic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/maticni-odbori\/matini-odbor-za-polja-strojarstva-brodogradnje-tehnologije-prometa-i-transporta-zrakoplovstva-raketne-i-svemirske-tehnike\/\">evaluations<\/a> based on a decision taken by the Accreditation Council of the Agency or a minister&#8217;s reasoned proposal. Thematic evaluations evaluate similar evaluation subjects or areas of activity of one or more similar evaluation subjects.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n<strong>The thematic evaluation procedure will be regulated by a general act of the Agency.
