{"id":19954,"date":"2023-11-10T14:31:34","date_gmt":"2023-11-10T13:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/azvo.borealis.biz\/?page_id=19954"},"modified":"2024-01-29T13:42:42","modified_gmt":"2024-01-29T12:42:42","slug":"research-on-employment-rate-of-graduate-students-who-finished-their-studies-in-academic-year-2015-2016","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/en\/publications-and-analyses\/tracking-employment-of-graduate-students\/research-on-employment-rate-of-graduate-students-who-finished-their-studies-in-academic-year-2015-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Research on Employment Rate of Graduate Students who Finished their Studies in Academic Year 2015\/2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-lead-text mb-40 lg:mb-60 lg:-mt-[8rem]\">\n  <p class=\"font-serif text-xl sm:text-2xl leading-normal\">The Agency for Science and Higher Education, in cooperation with the Faculty of Organization and Informatics at the University of Zagreb conducted a research on employment rate of graduate students on national level during 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nResearch was conducted within the project&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/skazvo.azvo.hr\/hr\/\">SKAZVO<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 Improvement of Quality Assurance and Enhancement Systems in Higher Education, financed by the EU funds.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe survey covered students who graduated in the academic year 2015\/2016.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe goal was collection of data on students\u2019 satisfaction with their preparation for the labor market within higher education institutions and on transfer from the higher education system to the labor market and the first employment..\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe outcomes of this research have been published in publication&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/images\/stories\/publikacije\/Publikacija_%C5%A0to_nakon_diplome.pdf\">What comes after diploma?<\/a>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n<strong>Summary:<\/strong>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>7 201 participant had access to the online questionnaire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The percentage of filled in questionnaires (<em>response rate<\/em>) is 57 %<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>48,4 % participants finished undergraduate studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>51,3 % participants finished graduate studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>23,9 % participants finished professional studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>75,8 % participants finished university studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>85,6 % were employed within a year after graduation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>78 % were employed six months after graduation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Those unemployed state as the main reason for their unemployment the insufficient supply of jobs within their profession (49,1 % participants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The largest number of particants (59 %) found their first job in the private sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The most frequent strategy of finding the first job is via the Croatian Employment Service (25 % participants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>78,2 % participants got their jobs within the profession<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>21,8 % participants did not get their jobs within the profession<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The average satisfaction grade with the first job is 3,72.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The average sallary: the largest number of participants (46,4 %) has a salary between 3 500 and 5 000 HRK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Research was conducted within the project&nbsp;SKAZVO&nbsp;\u2013 Improvement of Quality Assurance and Enhancement Systems in Higher Education, financed by the EU funds.
