With the aim of strengthening international cooperation and internationalisation, the Agency for Science and Higher Education, pursuant to the Act on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Science (Official Gazette No. 151\/22), conducts international evaluations in the higher education and science sectors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Accreditation of a Joint Study Programme Offered by a Croatian and a Foreign Higher Education Institution (ESG)<\/h4>\n\n\n

\n \nThe accreditation of joint study programmes offered by Croatian and foreign higher education institutions is carried out directly by applying the procedure and standards prescribed by the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes.
\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nThe higher education institutions involved in the delivery of the joint study programme jointly select the agency that will conduct the accreditation procedure. The selected agency must be registered in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR)<\/a>.
\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nIf the higher education institutions jointly select the Agency for Science and Higher Education to conduct the accreditation of the joint study programme, the procedure is carried out in accordance with the Ordinance on the Implementation of the Accreditation Procedure for Joint Study Programmes Offered by Croatian and Foreign Higher Education Institutions and the Quality Standards for the Accreditation of Joint Study Programmes Offered by Croatian and Foreign Higher Education Institutions.
\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nIf the higher education institutions jointly select another agency registered in EQAR, the Croatian higher education institution shall, following completion of the accreditation procedure, submit to the Agency for Science and Higher Education the report on the accreditation procedure conducted and the accreditation decision. If the accreditation decision of the other agency is positive, the Agency for Science and Higher Education shall issue a decision recognising the accreditation decision of the other agency and an authorisation for the delivery of the joint study programme.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n
