The Erasmus+ Annual Conference for Higher Education Area was organised by the Agency for Mobility and European Union Programmes (AMEUP) in Zagreb on 6 and 7 December 2022.
The first day of the conference was intended for stakeholders in the higher education area. Current developments in the internationalisation of higher education in Croatia were presented, along with good foreign practices in recognition of study periods spent abroad, and quality evaluation of learning outcomes, as well as data on academic recognition of student mobility for ERASMUS+ competition year of 2018. The activities related to the European universities were also presented, as well as the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe, and the European initiative promoting the mobility of researchers and scientists – EURAXESS. A representative of the Agency for Science and Higher Education participated in a panel discussion entitled ‘Recognition of learning outcomes in student mobility’.
A new call for project proposals for 2023 was introduced during the second day of the conference. There was a demonstration of innovations in the projects Key Activity 1 (projects for mobility of students and staff of higher education institutions) and Key Activity 2 (collaborative partnerships), which introduced the results of the research survey about the students’ perspective of participation in the Erasmus+ programme Erasmus Student Network (ESN).
