On 1 December 2022, a workshop on Connection between the Micro-Credentials in Higher Education and the Croatian Qualifications Framework was held in a virtual environment, and organised by the Ministry of Science and Education. The online workshop was aimed primarily at representatives of higher education institutions.
The workshop presented the Ministry’s document Instructions for development, alignment, and approval of higher education institutions’ educational programmes at a higher education level for the purpose of financing through vouchers with funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026, and a representatives of the Agency for Science and Higher Education presented the processes and experiences of the formal and professional evaluation of proposals for qualification standards and proposals for sets of learning outcomes for entry into the Register of CQF, with a focus on development of lifelong learning programmes at a higher education level, aligned with the standards of the sets of learning outcomes from the Registry of CQF. A representative of the ministry governing labour clarified the possibilities of funding via vouchers for lifelong learning programmes aligned with the Registry of CQF, while a representative of the Bologna Follow-up Group demonstrated the European context of micro-credentials in higher education.
