ASHE organized training for drafting self-evaluation reports for representatives of higher education institutions participating in the re-accreditation in 2021, which was held on Tuesday, 27 October 2020. Due to the epidemiological situation and in accordance with recommendations of the competent bodies the training was held online.

„ASHE is currently carrying out a mixed model of re-accreditation, which is a combination of online and live evaluation. We cannot predict what lies ahead in 2021, but we are hoping we will be able to carry out as many evaluation procedures as possible live, as we did before the pandemic. Until then, we continue to perform evaluation procedures as the circumstances will allow, by complying with all professional standards”, said prof. dr. sc. Jasmina Havranek, acting director of ASHE in the welcome speech.

The professional part of training was opened by Ivana Borošić, head of the Department for Accreditation in Higher Education, who explained the procedure of re-accreditation and grading system, while mr. sc. Sandra Bezjak, assistant director for higher education and Marina Grubišić, head of the Department for Analytics and Statistics, explained the evaluation standards as well as the details related to the MOZVAG information system.

The procedure of re-accreditation was presented from three different perspectives: the perspective of the Accreditation Council was presented by Prof. Sonja Vila, PhD, president of the Accreditation Council, while Prof. Sunčica Oberman Peterka, PhD from the Faculty of Economics of J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek presented the perspective of the expert panel members. Prof. Anita Domitrović, PhD, from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, talked about the experience of re-accreditation from the perspective of a higher education institution.

Around 70 representatives of higher education institutions which will undergo re-accreditation next year took part in this online event.
