A seminar on the enrolment of foreign students to online studies at Croatian HEIs will be held as part of the cycle of seminars on the internationalization of higher education. The seminar is scheduled for September 2020 and the exact date and method of delivery (virtual or live) will be published on ASHE website in early September.

The cycle of seminars on internationalization was launched by ASHE in response to the results of the Croatian HEI re-accreditation processes, which identified a great potential and strength of Croatian higher education institutions for offering their study programmes on the global market and for attracting international students, and participating as equal partners in academic cooperation and exchange programmes in Europe. Notwithstanding some identified obstacles, higher education institutions themselves showed considerable interest and engagement in this regard.

The cycle of seminars on internationalization of higher education is organized within SKAZVO project - Improvement of quality assurance and enhancement systems in higher education, carried out by ASHE and financed from the European Social Fund. Up to now two seminars have been held: one focusing on the topic of attracting students from abroad and another on alliances of European universities and development of joint studies.
