COVID-10 pandemic has transformed the learning and teaching processes and experience for both students and teachers around the world and considerably affected the way higher education institutions work.

To learn how students and employees at higher education institutions coped with the new circumstances and the challenges they came across, the Agency for Science and Higher Education carried out a survey in June 2020. The results of the survey will be used to enhance support for higher education institutions in exceptional circumstances, such as global pandemic and social isolation. The results of the survey will be published in September 2020.

The information gathered from two groups of respondents, employees of higher education institutions and students, will enable better understanding of the impact of the pandemic on the work of higher education institutions as well as the perception towards working under quarantine in comparison to working in normal conditions.

The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) also encourages its members, agencies for quality assurance, to maintain a dialogue with institutions and national bodies, to deal with any operational aspects of work of higher education institutions and accreditation bodies at the national level.
