The ENQA-led project – Supporting European QA Agencies in meeting the ESG (SEQA-ESG) – which will last for two years, started in May 2020. The project also involves partners from the following six countries: Albania, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Moldova and Malta.

The aim of the project is to support quality assurance (QA) agencies and ministries in the six countries in building a system of quality assurance in higher education as one of the key objectives of the Bologna Process. More specifically, the project envisages a number of activities aimed at achieving the following objectives: establishing national legal frameworks in line with the ESG; alignment of the QA processes with the ESG peer-review method; connection of national criteria with the ESG; appropriate methods and criteria for the involvement of peer reviewers and stakeholder involvement in external QA.

Since the Agency for Science and Higher Education has been recognized as one of the European agencies with great experience in the application of the ESG, Mr. sc. Sandra Bezjak, ASHE's assistant director for higher education, will also take part in the project as one of experts selected by ENQA upon proposal of ASHE’s acting director, Prof. Jasmina Havranek, PhD. More information about the project is available on ENQA's website.
