Adaptation period | TThe pursuit of a regulated profession in the Republic of Croatia under the responsibility of a qualified expert that can be accompanied by further training and is subject to an assessment. A qualified expert is a qualified representative of a particular profession who has appropriate professional experience. Detailed rules governing the adaptation period and its assessment, as well as the status of an applicant under supervision, shall be laid down by the competent authority, taking into account that the applicant is a qualified expert in an European Economic Area (EEA) Contracting State. |
Aptitude test | Test of the applicant’s professional knowledge conducted by competent authorities of the Republic of Croatia with the aim of assessing theapplicant’s ability to pursue a regulated profession. |
Automatic recognition | Recognition of foreign professional qualifications, available solely to EU Member States nationals, by which the Republic of Croatia acknowledges that their evidence of formal qualification is equally valid as its own. |
