Foreign educational qualification

Refers to the formal term for a particular level or degree of acquired knowledge, skills and competence, which are proved by a foreign school certificate, diploma or other public document issued by a competent authority. In order to foreign qualification be considered as foreign higher education qualification and to be recognized as such in Croatia, it's necessary that it's considered as higher education qualification in country which issued it and that it's obtained upon successful completion of a higher education program.

Formal learning

Organized activity by an accredited legal entity or an individual, carried out according to accredited programmes, aimed at acquiring and upgrading competences for personal, social and professional needs. It shall be proven by a certificate, diploma or other public document issued by an authorized legal entity.

Full qualification

Qualification complying by itself to conditions for access to the labour market and/or further education, respectively.
