Term Definition
60 ECTS credits

Represent student workload during one year of full-time study in a formal learning context. In most cases, a full-time student's workload during one year is between 1500 – 1800 hours, which means that 1 ECTS credit corresponds to 25-30 hours of work. Since part-time students do not have the full workload, they usually cannot earn 60 ECTS credits in one academic year.
