The following documents are required for professional recognition of a foreign higher education qualification:

• Application form for recognition of a foreign higher education qualification
• Original or certified copy of the foreign qualification for recognition [confirmations or substitute documents of a foreign qualification are not accepted]
• Certified translation of the foreign qualification
• Official grade transcript in original, issued by a higher education institution
• Certified translation of the official grade transcript
• Official curricula [issued by a higher institution or printed from the official web site of an institution] in original and translated (no certified translation required)
• List of admission requirements. If an official version does not exist, write it yourself
• Diploma supplement in original if available and certifed translation of Diploma supplement
• CV in the Croatian language pointing out course of education and work experience (when applaying for recognation of Ph.D. study, list of scientific papers and where they are published)
• Certified copies of previously acquired qualification(s), if any
• Certificate of citizenship (certified copy of certificate or passport), certificate of refugee status or status of exile
• Proof of payment of administrative fees
• Copy of marriage certificate or official decision by a competent authority for those applicants who have changed their first and/or last name
• One copy of all enclosed documents, including the application form, except for the official curricula
• Those candidates applying for recognition of Master degrees must enclose one (1) copy [paper, on floppy disk or CD] of their Master thesis and a certified copy of previously acquired higher qualification(s), if any
• Those candidates applying for recognition of Doctoral degrees must enclose one (1) copy [paper, on floppy disk or CD] of their Doctoral thesis and a certified copy of previously acquired higher qualification(s), if any

Notes:

•  If the application is incomplete, you will be notified on the required supplement documentation in written form
•  If you fail to submit any of the requested documents, a written explanation should be enclosed stating the reason and time to expect it;
•  If a qualification is not issued in Latin or Cyrillic script, applicant needs to request, from a competent higher education institution, a new qualification   issued in one of the mentioned alphabets
•  Translation of documents issued in Bosnian or Serbian language is not required if they are issued in Latin alphabet
•  We only accept certified copies made by authorized public notary;
•  We only accept certified translations only made by court interpreters certified for the language in which the qualification is issued;
•   Applicants that completed their higher education in former SSSR, Romania, Albania and Bulgaria are required to enclose the original qualification or copy of qualification certified with Apostile;
• For official curricula printed from official web site of institution it's obligatory to indicate URL address from which the document is taken;
•  If the submitted documentation is complete, the National ENIC/NARIC Office will issue confirmation on the started procedure for recognition of a foreign higher education qualification, at your request
